Work
NOTE: I will be taking a 2 week break from this project, keep reading for details.
This is my 3rd self-portrait on dailyPortrait. The other 2 have been for major events: the starting of this project and my birthday, which was just over 3 months ago.
Back then, things were really bad in many fronts of my life, especially work.
Right now, in today's photo, it may look like things haven't changed much, or if they have, that they have changed for the worse. But things couldn't be more different.
Work turned around significantly and now I am basically living the dream. My work consists of the 3 things that I really love doing: programming (in C++), building (electronic) contraptions and photography. I am building a system, programming it, and as of next week, I will be testing it out in the field.
I have been working my arse off for this project, averaging 4-5hrs sleep a day, but loving every single moment of it. Which is why I look like shit today. I am very grateful for my amazing wife for putting up with me and supporting me constantly.
And since I have been working so much and I will be away for 2 weeks testing my work, I am putting this blog on hold for the next 2 weeks, since my access to internet will be very limited. Though I don't expect too much of a problem, since I'm only averaging 10 visits a day ;)
See you here in 2 weeks!
